Five Tips About Straight Teeth

1. After braces, the only way to keep your teeth straight is by wearing retainers. Retainers are forever!

 2. If you ever lose or break your retainer, make an appointment in our office to get them replaced.

 3. To keep your straight teeth healthy, see your dentist regularly for cleanings, only floss the ones you want to keep!

 4. Straight teeth provide confidence in a person and they like to smile!

 5. You can tell a lot about a person by how often they wear their retainers and how clean their car is!

Permanent Retainers

Permanent Retainers/Bonded Retainers

After orthodontics, teeth tend to want to shift toward their original pre-treatment position.  Traditional removable retainers have been an unreliable solution to prevent this problem.  However, Dr. Majznerski has had great success with permanent bonded retainers.  What is a bonded retainer?

The bonded retainer is placed in such a way that the patient is able to pass dental floss between each of their teeth.  There is special dental floss called "Floss Threaders" that we give each of our patients that have a bonded retainer and they are instructed as to how to use this floss.

Patients love bonded retainers because they are reliable, hassle free, don't get lost and are invisible, even when flashing your broad new perfect smile.
